I have read in several different sources about two "alternative" stealth technologies the Russians are supposedly pursuing. One involves generating a plasma field around the aircraft which would dissipate radar waves (I also read that one possible drawback to this technique is that the plasma field would create a visible glow at night). The other has been referred to as "active radar cancellation," but with no further details. I was wondering if anyone in the forum has some insight or more solid info on these two technologies.
