Is there any serious consideration for perhaps pooling together and installing a webcam on Tikaboo or elsewhere?

I'm not sure what the exact technical demands of such an endeavour would be. Could a webcam be solar powered? Can a signal be cheaply transmitted from a peak with choppy telecommunications coverage? What are the legal considerations?

I live in Los Angeles and have been to the area many times including Tikaboo and I would be willing to help in maintaining such a device.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or tried out before, this is my first post on the discussion forum (though I've been viewing this website consistently for over a year now).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
