I've done projects in the commercial sector where I got the thing working, then the company said "only kidding". At least I got paid, but you like to see your efforts being used.

It cost around 400 millions dollars in the 60's according to the guy who worked on the project. It has huge amounts of platinum in it.

The guy who worked there said it was a rocket engine, and the website said it was an aircraft engine. Personally, I'd like to see the plane they planed to use it in. That thing is huge. I think a rocket was the right answer
