Wow, I didn't realize the effect the Superbowl had in LV! No doubt they used additional tower and ground control frequencies. That's not uncommon. LAX, DFW, ORD, ATL and probably JFK have mulitple tower/ground frequencies all the time. Duties are usually divided by runways and taxiways. It works quite smoothly. After-thought -- Wouldnt' one of those mobile towers be great for watching Red Flag in the winter? :-) --
