I'm eagerly awaiting the new photos of the North Gate's new construction and completion. Doesn't it seem kinda strange that they put up two fences so that they can isolate a vehicle while checking it in? I always guessed that they reason there weren't any fences was that even if someone did run the border in a vehicle, there's one hell of a long way to go before actually getting anywhere they could see something sensitive, and they would be caught long before that. Seems odd that they have built this contraption, when my understanding was that it was mostly construction equipment that traveled through that gate. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
