Re: Aircrafts spotted over The Netherlands?

They are deployed in waves to the Middle East via night stops in bases such as Lajes, Moron, Rota, Sigonella then onto Incirlik or Kuwait / Saudi Arabia.

They are trailed over behind KC135s and KC10s called 'Coronet deployments'.
Depending where they are going they usually route via Lajes in the Azores then onto Moron / Rota and on to Sigonella or straight to Turkey or Middle East.
And, their block altitudes are usually between FL210 and FL260 (21,000 - 26,000ft) when deploying.

As many Dutch, Belgian, French, German and Italian aircraft route back and forth from the UK every day it is probable it was just a pair of F16s.
TLP at Florennes are usual suspects, flying anything from F16s to Mirages to F18s and attack targets in the UK then fly back home.
As for Holland, most of the British flights to Germany fly over the top, as do many German aircraft.
Take your pick, i see many high altitude 'trails' over my area daily, ranging from in the 20,000 region to over 42,000 ft region (air tests and supersonic test runs for aircraft that can go supersonic only in a dive from that height (Hawk and Alpha jet today for example)
