First of all, I'm sorry to mention that I should have said the radars I mentioned were photographed at the North Gate NOT the Main Gate - I got my gates mixed up. But not the radars. The one with the long center horizontal shaft with a half-dozen perpendicular dipoles is the SPOON REST A. The other shot, the ellipitical wire mesh dish mounted above a truck, looks to be a LONG TALK Soviet search and surveillance radar. This is standard GCA (ground control approach) used at soviet air bases. I'll look for the 3.5 floppies and transmit the Celestron closeups I took.
