Here is a blurb I found regarding the mine:
Freiberg
Other names: Worthington, Freyberg, Freiburg
County: Lincoln
Discovered: 1865
Organized: 1869
Commodities: silver, lead, zinc, copper, tungsten
Comments: The Freiberg district is in the northern Worthington Mountains. The historic mines
of the district are located in the central part of T1N, R57E, on the north flank of Worthington
Peak. It was originally organized as the Worthington district in 1865, and reorganized as the
Freyberg district in 1869.
