Glock 27 .40 is my CCW carry gun around Vegas but in rural Nevada I open carry so it's either my Ruger .44 magnum or my Taurus .454 Raging Bull, the reason for that is I'm not positive a .40 would kill an attacking mountain lion (or something bigger), I'd have more faith in a .44 with 6 rounds than a .40 with 10 rounds. When I camp I always either have a shotgun with 00 buck loaded or an AR-15 with a 30 round mag. Since this is so off topic, email me at snafu63092@juno.com to discuss further, Thanks, Bob M
