Most RAF Hawks are painted black as, believe it or not, they're easier to see during daytime training flight operations. These particular aircraft may have just been re-painted, or may have been waiting on new markings being applied - there's certainly not much that's sinister about a BAE Hawk! The Blackhawks that fly out of Groom do have markings and are camouflaged in grey and two shades of green. They have the commonly used low-vis 'outline' markings that are applied to all HH/MH-60 Blackhawks and other special ops aircraft. There are a few pics of them on this site. Magoo
