What maps to get depends on what you are planning to do. We have some overview maps in the "Maps" section that you can print out. They show all the "places of interest" around Area 51, with GPS coordinates. If you are planning to explore the dirt roads I also recommend the USGS topo maps (there is a link to their site also in the maps section). Also in the maps section, a tip how to get a free Range map through FOIA. That usually takes a few weeks, though. Or just stop at the AAA office here in Vegas. If you are a member of the British automobile club they give you free maps. Make sure to get both Las Vegas North and South, and the large-scale overview map, which (I believe) includes Rachel.
