In Bill Sweetmans book on the aurora, they are supposedly using regular suck squeeze blow jet engines for low speed and intial take off. Even the f-117 with all of it's stealth and the B2 for that matter do emit a plume and heat distortion. I now do believe beyond a reasonable doubt that this is a ducted fan model. For those not familiar with R/C ducted fan engines. It's basically a model ariplane 2 stroke engine connected to a propeller and does not suck, squeeze, blow, fuel like a jet engine. It's just basically, an internal propeller driven engine.
