Red Flag operations went normally today near Rachel today. The late afternoon exercise was perhaps slightly more aggressive than normal, with numerous sonic booms. It was a split high/low war due to a cloud deck and some light showers in the Bald Mountain area. Four of the Australian F-111's egressed low over Coyote Summit, followed by a pair of F-15's, then a few minutes later, six Tornados.
