The power feeds routed underground is most certainly a reality. One of the ways to determine the intent of a structure is to observe the kind of electrical feeds it has. A small building that has 4160v feeds, or has a visible switchyard, probably has something going on that is worth noting. While this does not prove underground structures, it certainly would support their existance. Since that area does have infrquent but torrential rains, having the vaults enough above ground level to prevent water intrusion is likely. It also may be a building code requirement. Even though it's a classified military base, it still has to abide by the rules that govern how to build structures as per government specs. The government has been tunnelling for years, and if they are willing to annex more land 28 miles away, they surely would be willing to develop undergroung facilities to ease the risk of casual or purposeful observation. It also makes it easier to keep the people that work there in the dark as to what else is going on. I'm glad that the mudane stuff like counting semis and figuring out the power requirements of the base has become important. You can hide a lot of stuff, but on a base that size, the logistics and electrical requirement can be deduced and then the population and possible end-uses extrapolated. I think we are getting somewhere with this line of analysis. Good job guys.
