Any ideas as to what this classified payload might have been? My guess is: something that was either too big for, or couldn't be used on a conventional faster moving AC. Anything related to the "Star Wars" program perhaps?? These large blimps would sure be a nice platform for ICBM tracking sensors - or for a giant laser gun...
