Interesting coincidence. The great Washington DC UFO flap, in which jets were scrambled over several days to investigate numerous mysterious radar targets, was exactly 50 years ago. Maybe its the golden anniversary celebration of the invasion that was aborted at the last minute because the ETs didn't want to tangle with Harry Truman.
