I wonder if there was a period of time in the past several years where that withdrawal authorization had expired, and before they thought to renew it. Did I miss my bucket-list opportunity to climb Freedom Ridge? In 2046 I'll be 88 years old, so . . . something to live for I suppose. :) Someday I hope Area 51 is designated as a National Park Much like all the Civil War Battlefield sites back east. Maybe my great-great-great grandkids can visit there then. At the very least I'd like to see a U-2 INVENTED HERE billboard just outside the gates. Wonder what the film at the Visitor's Center then would have to say? Late night random thoughts . . .
