I took a business trip about a year and a half ago from Albuquerque to Phoenix, then from Phoenix to San Francisco. While in the air between Phoenix and San Fran, I videotaped out of the right side window. I taped a UPS plane dropping in altitude, and later 2 airbases. One base had 2 large hangars, small airplanes out front. The other airport had a y or T shaped runways with a lot of big planes(tankers?) down one leg of a runway. These planes appeared to be too close to each other, in my opinion. that runway went west, hangar row runway went north, north east. I think I was over southern California, before Edwards. Anybody know what these bases are? Navy testing? I've looked on some maps. thanks. dloving@nmia.com
