Yes,as is said:science and skill over ignorance and superstition.And a hell of a lot of Luck!It's going to take all of that to find the A12 impact point.
Tom was lucky.He got the death certificate and it had information that he was able to use.One could walk right to the LZ area and not know what it meant.He was lucky he spotted the anomalies on the arials.This is where science and skill comes in.Also he invested so much of his time.I applaud his efforts to put the puzzle together.
I only see four ways to find it now:
Someone who knows provide the coordinates;
Get the accident report;
Find the same anomalies on the correct arial;
