Some people on the internet made the assumption that the YF-24 is related to the MRF-24 concept. MRF-24 was a set of Boeing concepts for a multi role fighter in the early 1990s, studies that were precursors to what is now the JSF. There is no actual information available on the YF-24, and no documented relationship to the MRF-24 concept.
