20 feet plug in-between the tail point and intakes, so it is stretched forwards. A refuel point (probe) 12 feet behind the cockpit.

Obviously tidy up the tail.

Then you would have something that (even in that above image) has already made a very old man smile like it is Christmas. They are a dying breed, and their efforts need remembering.

The coming reveal of hypersonic airbreathing airframes cannot come fast enough, as there isn't a lot of time before these good men and women are no longer with us.
