I stand corrected. When Bird of Prey was made public I assumed it was something seen on several occasions best described by a 747 crew who filed a near miss report about "Something that looked like the front section (nose to wing root) of an SR-71 near George AFB." That apparently wingless shape is what I and my coworkers saw on several occasions and Bird of Prey certainly filled the bill as an explanation. But since it did fly from Groom and not an airfield I listed, the question becomes; What Mojave Desert Mystery Aircraft that resembles Bird of Prey were we seeing?
