As to answering your question: No, a nose and some skin change isn't going to turn a B-52 into a low observable (stealth) aircraft. The sheer size coupled with all the lumps and bumps along with those open engine faces (with whirring blades) will all be huge radar reflectors. So short answer: No.

Flight of the Old Dog is a great read though.
