Thanks for the kind words. The strength of this forum is those who add, appropriately, experiences and knowledge to the discussions. I believe our mission planners, primarily Weapons School grads (Patches) and those from other units, mentored the Israeli crews. I think the IAF served as package Commanders that last day. That task is daunting because it requires integrating vastly different airframes with different and sometimes competing capabilities and missions, effectively and safely. That was, and presumably still, is one of the main goals of RF. Creating a cadre of planners capable of this task. With the vastly increased integration and joint training now occurring with the IAF, I assume their crews will be in a much better position to serve the Mission Commander role.
