I wouldn't be surprised if Boeing's design for a blended wing body tanker transport wins a USAF competition for a new generation tanker aircraft to replace the KC-10 and also makes the cut in the USAF's quest to shop for a C-5 replacement because the immense carrying capacity afforded by the BWB concept would enable a military Boeing BWB to carry immense amounts of fuel to refuel multiple aircraft but also transport more troops or military vehicles than a C-5.
