I wonder what the US military has to defend against Chinese drone swarms on US soil. What's to stop the Chinese from using the land they've been acquiring adjacent to US military bases as a temporary base to launch a surprise offensive? For a very cheap price, the Chinese could pepper everything on the ground to stifle US operations. B-2s parked or taxiing, ground radars, fuel storage, communication terminals. There is nothing we have to effectively defend against such an attack and China has every opportunity and capability of taking advantage of this weakness.
