That is a possibility. Or the story is a fabrication to further the agenda of banning drones anywhere near perimeter of the test site. That story, if fabricated, could actually serve another purpose as well. The guy claims to have launched the drone from Alamo Road. That is part of the land that the Air Force tried to annex a few years ago and after many hearings and much debate was denied. The drone story would support a renewed push to grab that land.
