Before I go off writing about this subject, I wanted to get a little confirmation about military flares. I have heard that flares last approximately 5 minutes. Is this true? The next two things I am about to say may sound a little stupid but so is the military explantion on many sightings. Can flares stay in formation and travel in a flight path? I think I already know the answer to this but just making sure. Thank you for your help.
