I’ve been thinking about this for a few days, the why? Could it be the 2011 New START Treaty? Doesn’t that require the US and Russia to disclose and be transparent regarding nuclear weapons and capable bombers? If what I’m reading is correct, that treaty is set to lapse in February 2026. Could it be that the AF is trying to conceal to the world the real bomber while “complying” with the START and showing us a different AC? I will follow up to this post with another theory to discuss the canopy/windows.
