Trouble is, there's alot of sky out there and there's only about a half dozen observatories world wide dedicated to looking for NEO (near earth objects), and most of these aren't operated on a full-time basis. I read somewhere recently that the chances of actually spotting an object before it hits is less than 30%. Magoo
