I've contacted the US Forrest Service about putting a repeater in the Toiyabe (sp) and got an answer of maybe. Certain parts of the forrest can not have any man made structures (excluding ghost towns I guess). I have a site picked out but haven't been able to check it out for various reasons, mostly due to roads on the maps that are not really roads in real life. You need a road that leads very close to a hill top and is not in a wilderness protected area.
