How do they know who to let on the bus? Bus passengers likely do a badge exchange at the boarding point, just the same as passengers at the Janet terminal. You get checked in and identity verified, then you exchange your id for an Area 51 or TTR specific badge, possibly a badge for a specific area on the base. Same procedure used at USAF bases and contractors for entering areas more controlled for special access programs or nuclear weapons access.
