Why did the SECDEF go to TTR on an E4 in July 2021?

It appears that the SECDEF made a brief stop at TTR before going continuing on a scheduled tour to Asia last year. This is highly unusual because the E4 will typically carry a press corps if the SECDEF is going on official scheduled travel. Taking a bunch of reporters to a secret aircraft testing base seems ill-advised. They were on the ground for about six hours, would be a pretty crappy layover if they were told to stay on the plane.
