Scott, I think Glenn would really like your Tikaboo idea. I cannot think of a better final resting place for him.

As for the hike, it really depends on your shape. I have seen guys in their 30's not make it and I have seen guys in their early 60's make it and have a great time. I am 60, in decent shape. It may take me a bit longer but I can still do the hike. But I have to pack considerably lighter than I did 20 years ago.

You are looking at about a 2-3 hour hike uphill with 1000ft. elevation change in 8000ft. altitude (where the air is thinner). In the summer daytime temps can be in the 90's with very little shade on the trail. Access requires a 4WD vehicle with high clearance (or a longer hike).
