Rachel was cut off from the outside world for the last 24 hours. Had there been a medical emergency there was no way to call help. And all because some fools decided to shoot out the fiber optics line that carries all communications in and out of Rachel. The lines have been patched and from what I can tell from the radio traffic the suspects were apprehended. Six individuals in three vehicles, all from California. I have all names and license plates, for future reference, should they decide to ever come back.
