Today is the 50th anniversary of D.B. Cooper's famous parachute hijacking. In the mid-1980's the Boeing 727-100 involved in the incident became part of the USAF's chartered civilian fleet transporting workers from Nellis to TTR during the F-117 project. It served in that function for several years, and eventually was scrapped in 1996.
