Sounds like you will be exploring the Hwy 95 side. I am not very familiar with that side of the ranges but in most places the boundary is marked by a fence. If you see warning signs next to the road, you probably don't want to go any further. For instance, at the Mercury Gate you are trespassing if you drive all the way to the guard post. You can only drive up to the warning signs a few hundred feet from the highway. Anyone more familiar with the Hwy 95 side, please feel free to jump in.
