That is a good point. I *assume* it came out of and returned to Edwards. This is based on the common belief that the RQ-180 is based there and on the flight path headed straight towards Edwards. But seconds after the photo was taken the aircraft disappeared behind a thin layer of clouds and apparently got out of the contrail zone. We lost it. It would have been in the R-4806W airspace at that time and could have easily descended and landed at Groom.
