Great photos, thank you for sharing. Since the Storm Area 51 event the back gate gets a lot more traffic. But even with that in mind the security improvements there seem a bit over the top. There must be a major project in the works at the base that brings in lots of Black Budget $$.

I still remember the days when there was only one small guard shack right by the cattle fence and a couple of support buildings. The attached was taken 07/1999. Quite a difference!
