In case you have not seen it, our Tikaboo Peak Map (link attached) has GPS coordinates including for the hike part. I would highly recommend getting a GPS receiver, program in the waypoints and practice using the GPS unit. Don't rely on your phone. There is no cell phone service for much of the hike and more than likely your mapping app will not work.

If you want to use your phone for navigation I recommend US Topo Maps Pro. You can download maps for offline use and save waypoints similar to a GPS. I paid less than $10 for it.

Rating the hike is difficult. Depends on your shape. I have seen overweight smokers in their early 30s not make it and I have seen folks in their early 60s in good shape make it.
