Good advice. I think all three sites I am feeding to offer free kits. But as I understand it you can only feed the site the kit is from with these kits. Also, you get the perks like business membership if you are feeding regardless of whether you are using their kit.

The main reason for me to decide to build my own kit was the requirement to send them photos of where the receiver would be set up. I do not feel comfortable providing photos of my home from all four directions. But that is a personal preference.
