Hi

I am using the Canon product.
It is "EF100-400mm F4.5-5.6L ISU SM" that I recommend. A large range called 100 to 400 mm which this lens has will serve as a powerful advantage, and will give a photography person a precious photography chance, when there is no time of lens exchange.

Although there is experience which I also photoed by Nellis AFB using this lens, not only an optical performance but the structure of this lens is strong, and it is excellent also in protection against dust.

If a photograph is taken using an auto focus, I recommend avoiding use of Converter (Extender) if possible. It is because a speed of an auto focus of operation will become slow and a possibility of removing an exact focus will become high, if Converter (Extender) is used.
This tendency will become strong when photoing a photographic subject with a motion it is small and quick like a fighter.

I am glad if this advice of mine is helpful.
