Years ago I had a major work for me who had routinely flown this type mission in a C-141 for then VP George H W Bush. He had some great stories about flying into various places around the world and the levels of cooperation (or lack thereof) from foreign airport/airbase personnel. He was also very complimentary about VP Bush and his kindness to his crew. He still had the blank OER Bush signed for him.
