Coming up on the 40 year first flight milestone of the F-117 next month and she’s still flying!! That’s a huge milestone to reach given the ups and the downs that program has encountered along the way. Seeing as this is such an important milestone for any program, let alone America’s first stealth aircraft, I wonder if the Air Force has any plans to celebrate? I mean, she’s pushin 40 now and not getting any younger. Perhaps they will parade her around in a public flyover as the sun sets on that program and the moon rises over another? Perhaps... June is shaping up to be a very interesting month for all of us black jet nerds around the world. The cult of the jet people... See y’all at the corner.
