This 'incident' is an absolute load of rubbish. An awful lot of putting 2 + 2 together and getting 5.

Now I have read that a certain Chinook crash was allegedly due to "Aurora".

We lost a lot of good people in that incident, and it has caused a large amount of bad feeling due to the Board of Inquiry finding the flight crew negligent, despite having no evidence to support this. The reason behind the crash were issues with the Chinook Mk.2's FADEC, the real "cover-up" is to protect the reputation of senior officers who knew the issues but did nothing to resolve them.

It has taken decades to try to exonerate the flight crew.

To read crackpot theories that "Aurora" caused this crash is frankly insulting to the crew and PAX's in the extreme...
