An interesting piece of information at the tail end of an article about a proposed EW version of the JSF in the 16-22 April edition of Flight International (page 4)...

"The USAF, meanwhile, seems willing to let the USN and USMC battle over which aircraft should be the electronic-attack core asset. The USAF's priority is to equip the Boeing B-52H with a low-band jammer pod to protect the Lockheed Martin F-117 stealth fighters against emerging threats."

Does anyone know anything more about this?
