thirty eight years at edwards working directly with test pilots - many very nicc, heavy pilots especially - there is a reason they are called "zipper suited sun gods"... i met yeager at edwards during my first week of work at the F15 Test Force in June of 1973 and quickly realized that it is very smart to "never meet your heros"....
