When at Oshkosh we camped in the warbird campground. During the daytime events there was a large tent set up with scheduled speakers. In the years 2003, 04 and 05 Yeager would join Bob Hoover and tell their stories over Europe and back at Edwards. The crowd was standing room only. When together they were sometimes funny, they would debunk some myths, speak of other brass they had to put up with. Yeager was not shy speaking about AF and NASA plans. Never got close to shake hands as others tried, he seemed to leave after their talk. Bob Hoover seemed more accessible as he had sponsors. Good to hear the two relive those times.
