Those signs were added at GL Rd and at the back gate last year for the Storm Area 51 event. The ET Hwy signs were removed for the event. NDOT was concerned about traffic issues from people stopping to take pictures. When the signs were put back they were installed on taller posts to prevent theft and to protect the signs from being defaced with graffiti and stickers.
