If 325Guy wants to listen to military traffic transiting the LA area as he described, wouldn't ATC be controlling those a/c through non-military airspace? If that's the case, why couldn't he download one of ATC apps and select LA center to listen to them being controlled in and out of the LA area?

Do any of the radio scanner apps have military air frequencies?
